1. Travel and Parking
Festival Site
Parking
The Crichton Estate has ample free parking across the grounds, including accessible parking spaces. We recommend that you access the Crichton Estate from Bankend Road at Grierson Gate and you will find car parks located at Dudgeon House and Crichton Central which are within a short walk of the festival arena. Please ensure you park within a designated car parking bay within the Estate. Car parking will be signposted from when you enter the Crichton Estate.
Please note that there will be no access to Easterbrook Hall car park, as this will be designated for festival production.
Accessible parking is available using the existing accessible parking spaces within the Crichton Estate.
Please also be aware that there may be businesses and partner organisations working on the Estate while the festival is taking place, so please always be respectful.
Dumfries is the nearest train station to the festival site. The station is well served from Glasgow, Kilmarnock and Carlisle.
The station is a 40 minute walk or 10 min drive to the main festival site.
If arriving by train, you can walk 5 minutes to Great King Street, Dumfries and get the Houstons bus ride (12 mins) to The Crichton Estate. Use bus number 5.

Bus

You get the bus from Great King Street, Dumfries and (bus number 5) the takes around 12 mins to The Crichton Estate.

2. Accommodation
Dumfries has a range of great hotels and B&B’s, so if you are planning to stay over, please support local accommodation providers.

3. Entry Information
Entry to the festival is by ticket only. If there are tickets remaining on the day of the festival, these will be available at the box office (located at the entrance to the festival arena).

Advance tickets can also be purchased in person from Easterbrook Hall during normal opening hours.
All tickets are non-refundable except in the event of the festival being cancelled in its entirety and is not rescheduled. Please refer to ticket terms and conditions for full details.
On the day of the festival, tickets will be exchanged for a wristband at the entrance.
Children accompanied by an adult are welcome to attend but as the event is aimed at an adult audience, there will be no activities for children available at the festival. For this reason, we are not releasing children's tickets and any young person attending will need to purchase a general admission ticket.
There is no charge for children under 2 years old to attend and they do not require a ticket.
Young people aged 18 and under must be accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian over the age of 21.
The festival will run from 1.00pm until 10.00pm.
Gates will open at 1.00pm and last admission will be 8.00pm.
Music will start at 1.30pm and end at 10.00pm.
Ultimate Tributes Festival is a one-day event with no camping or live-in vehicle provision available.
4. Food and Drink
Reasonably priced food and drinks will be available to purchase including food trucks serving crowd favourites such as loaded fries, stacked burgers and quality coffee.
A licenced bar will also offer a range of drinks including lager, cider, spirits and soft drinks.
We follow the Challenge 25 policy (www.challenge25.org), so if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked to show proof that you’re 18 or over. If you are under 18, you are committing an offence if you attempt to buy alcohol.
Free drinking water refill points will be available throughout the festival site and attendees are permitted to bring an empty reusable water bottle for personal use.
No food, alcohol, soft drinks or other beverages may be brought into the festival arena by attendees.
Bag searches may be conducted on entry. Any prohibited food or drink items may be confiscated or attendees may be refused entry until such items are removed from the site.
The bar will operate as cashless and you will need to bring a debit/credit card to purchase any drinks from the bar.
The catering providers will accept card and cash.
5. Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome at the festival but must always remain under the control of their owner and must be kept on a lead.
Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Any dog displaying aggressive or dangerous behaviour may be required to leave the site.
Assistance dogs are welcome at all times.
6. Camp Chairs
Attendees may bring their own folding camp chairs for personal use.
Chairs must not obstruct walkways, emergency routes, viewing areas or operational spaces and you may be asked to relocate chairs if they create a safety issue.
7. Prohibited Items
The following items are not permitted within the festival site:
• Glass bottles, jars or containers.
• Alcohol not purchased on site.
• Food or drink (except empty reusable water bottles).
• BBQs, stoves or cooking equipment.
• Fireworks, flares, smoke canisters or pyrotechnics.
• Illegal substances.
• Offensive weapons or items that may be used as weapons.
• Drones or other unmanned aerial devices without prior written permission from the Organiser.
Any prohibited items may be confiscated and the holder may be refused entry or removed from the Event.
8. Photography and Film
The event may be photographed, filmed or recorded.
By attending the event, you are agreeing to the Organiser using photographs, video and audio recordings in which you may appear for promotional, marketing and documentary purposes without compensation.
9. Your Safety
Reporting a Missing/Found Item
We would encourage you not to carry large amounts of cash on you and don’t carry all your cash or valuables in one bag or pocket.
Only take the items in your wallet / bag that you really need. Leave any unnecessary cards and keys at home.
The bar and box office will only accept card payments.
We work incredibly hard to ensure any lost property is returned to its rightful owner throughout the day and post festival.
If you lose an item, please speak to one of the stewards who can help you.
Reporting a Lost Child
Give your children the same advice you would if you were anywhere else; don’t go off with strangers or anyone without telling you first. If they get lost have them ask for help from a member of security or a steward.
Any found children will be cared for in the Medical/Welfare Tent and this would be the first place to head if you have been separated. It's helpful if you give your child a copy of your phone number.
If you find a lost child, please take them to steward or the Medical/Welfare Tent.
